Brook House and Overbrook
Red Devon Housing LTD has been providing high quality sheltered and retirement accommodation for over 55 years. Based in the traditional seaside town of Dawlish in Devon, Brook House offers sheltered accommodation for older people, whilst Overbrook is designed for those able to live independently.
Brook House and Overbrook are located in beautiful grounds of over one acre, with lawns running down the Dawlish Brook. Both properties are within walking distance of local shops, a post office and the Parish Church.
By walking through the Manor Gardens, next door to the grounds, there is easy access to Dawlish Hospital and Barton Surgery, together with the town centre, sea front, main bus stops and the Railway Station.
Is renting right for you?
Sheltered housing or retirement housing is accommodation specifically designed for older people to allow them to live independently.
Our properties are self-contained rental flats and flatlets, with communal facilities including our grounds, residents conservatory and a dining room. Residents have their own front door, a kitchen or kitchenette area, and their own bathroom. This allows them to live independently and have freedom to come and go as they please. Help and support is at hand from our onsite team and warden if needed.
When considering your choice for accommodation, it is worth considering that Red Devon Housing LTD is owned and managed on a not-for-profit basis. Red Devon Housing is a social landlord registered with the Homes and Communities agency (Reg No: H0670)
Our Board of Trustees is made up of volunteers from the Dawlish community, local business and professional people, whose principal aim is to ensure that Brook House & Overbrook maintains its high standards as a pleasant and safe environment for all residents.
